The main purpose of housewife is to devote to her husband and to raise and to educate the children. Therefore most of the husband forbids his wife to work outside / office. For the husband who has a high salary that may not be a problem but for a husband whose income is just barely possible this could cause the family’s daily needs are met less. To help the family income is fitting for a housewife had to start a business / entrepreneurship.
Based on tips made by my wife at least there are some things to watch out for housewives who want to start a business from home:
1. Family (husband and children) is the first priority, remember the original purpose of why the mother is at home to devote to family. Suppose the family as a “customer first and foremost”.
2. Mom can start a business from a hobby or skill. With a hobby we do not feel pressured / overwhelmed because it is done with pleasure and does not require a relatively high cost.
3. Started small and now too, I mean start your business from the capital that you have now and not too much consideration / calculate risk. If you now have a capital of Rp. 100,000 start looking for a business that could Rp. 100,000 capital. Do not procrastinate until your capital a lot. 4. Record all income and expenditure from day to day.
